I'm sorry this post is so late,

My essence of time is not great

Let's go back to the scene

of October 19

For that was our wedding date!

The weather outside, a bit wet;

But Carlene and I did not fret

We all moved inside,

And prepared to cry

At the night we would never forget.

Alyssa made the two of us three

Became a part of the new family.

I was in the best spot

But the chapel was HOT

And the sweat, it just poured off of me.

The customized vows given out

The rings were exchanged with no doubt

When Carlene and I kissed,

I just about missed

Alyssa saying "You two, GET OUT!!"

The reception was quite a show-a

The good times (and wine) it did flow-a

Dreams were in my head

But I turned beet red

When my sisters pulled out "Captain Noah"

I have a new daughter and wife

Who both like to swing the "Ren Knife"

Considering the chances

Of Ren based romances

I'm in for one hell of a life!!

I went to the CT Ren Faire,

A bit of nervous in the air.

I met my friend Dave,

Of the weather I raved,

And soon I lost all of my cares.

I made sure our path was quite clear,

Then collected all of my gear.

We walked through the fence

became the Pun Gents

For the first time in over THREE YEARS.

The scheldule had us left out,

But attendance was never in doubt.

We scribbled our names

In the program (how lame)

And Repunzel brought all with his shout.

As we looked from the stage to the town,

I was nerved, would we be great, or clown? 

Through bad puns and swords,

My anxiety was floored

As we promptly brought the HOUSE DOWN.

So now it is time to speak true,

And give those who helped me their due.

Those people I love

Are who I speak of,

My family and friends,  THAT'S WHO!
